MKB Squeezes V12 Engine In The Mercedes GL

This would have to be one of the most ridiculous tuning programs ever launched in the history of the automotive industry. The story goes this way: you buy a Mercedes GL, which we’re sure you know that it won’t be cheap, and after that you pay $294,030 to the guys from MKB to install a V12 engine! This engine conversion “is not easy” as it requires serious modifications to the four-wheel drive system, gearbox and the electronic control system, but even so the price tag is ridiculous.

With a V12 residing under the hood, the Mercedes GL is able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in 4.4 seconds, en route to an electronically limited top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).
